Ever After—The Romance Book Specialists opened its doors on January 28th, 2003 to very enthusiastic fans who had been deprived of their favourite reading choice: romantic fiction. The big bookstore chains were not supporting romance and readers were not happy, so something had to be done!
 
With 12 years of retail experience and plenty of romance reading to my credit, I decided to follow my life-long dream to open my own bookstore and because I was (and still am) a voracious romance reader, there was no question of what I would specialise in: Romance! With the support of my family, my dream came to fruition.
 
Since that fateful day, we have grown to be one of the premier specialty bookstores in the country offering a huge range of historical, contemporary and paranormal romances as well as urban fantasy, and for the more adventurous, hot erotica titles. These are sourced directly from the US, so shipments of books arrive weekly and super-fast—readers no longer have to wait months for their favourite books! And now by going online, we are offering our products to a wider audience and to our loyal readers who are always so eager for new releases and appreciate the numerous titles we stock.
 
We also have a special order service so if you’re after a Manga title, Anime DVD, New Age title or any general fiction or non-fiction title, we’ll be happy to help you out. And for the more budget conscious, we also stock a huge inventory of pre-loved titles.
Of course, being an Australian operated and owned bookstore, we feel it’s our duty to support our Aussie writers, so you’ll find plenty of very talented ladies (and gents) gracing our website.
